2018 CYC 103^rd ADMIRAL BYRD REGATTA – SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Open to Members, Guests, Competitors and Competitors’ Guests

Friday, July 20th

3:00 - 3:45 PM - Registration for Opti Green Fleet; Rear patio of the Cambridge Yacht Club

4:00 PM - First gun

4:00 PM - Registration for Laser team racing

5:15 PM - Captains meeting

6:00 PM - First gun, as many races as time allows-No races to begin after 7:00 PM

After Return to Docks: 6:30 -8:30 PM – Burgers, dogs, cash bar at CYC with live music by Bobby Reed on guitar in the Gazebo, games on the Lawn

8:00 PM - Awards on the CYC Lawn

Saturday, July 21st

8:00 - 9:00 AM - Check-in, complimentary continental breakfast

9:00 AM Skipper’s Briefing - Competitor Group Photo. (Briefing will include briefings for Saturday AND Sunday races)

11:00 AM - First Warning - as many races as time allows - No races to begin after 3:30 PM

After Return to Docks - Cash bar at the gazebo!

6:00 – 7:00 PM - Dining at the gazebo (Skipper complimentary)

6:00 - 10:00 PM - Live band Twisted Fate, games on the Lawn, dancing on the patio

7:30 PM - Awards on CYC Lawn

Trophies to 1^st place finishers in PHRF A, PHRF B, PHRF C, PHRF N, Shields, Comets and Cruising Classes

      Prizes to 2^nd and 3^rd place finishers

      Awards to top finishers of Cruising Class race, short-handed

      Award to best team uniform of all races

10:00 AM – First Warning – Distance Race: Cambridge to Oxford
