NEW BRIDGE MEETS:
While it still might be just a little too cold to get out on the boat, there is still a lot of activity going on in the ESSA fleets:
The new bridge had its’ first meeting at Deke Sheller’s house on Feb.19th.  A wide range of plans for the coming season was discussed including schedules for the upcoming season, more cooperation with the Cambridge Yacht Club, and the ESSA website.

Greg Mitchell has been the website administrator and has been doing a great job for a very long time. He has decided to step down and Cindy Haughtaling has graciously agreed to take over. THANK YOU, Greig, for a job well done!

The ESSA website is THE information source for ESSA:

On it you can find all the rules and regulations that govern our association, membership and racing forms, dues information, the latest news, event schedules (Click on the “Calendar” tab in the upper right corner) and lots and lots of photos!

The next Bridge meeting will be held on March 19th, 4:30pm at Deke Sheller’s house and any ESSA member is welcome to attend.

ESSA YEARBOOK:
Jerry Gerlitzki has once again volunteered to put together the ESSA Yearbook. If you have any pictures, stories, documents, etc., new or old, PLEASE send them to Jerry at: Essasailing1@gmail.com

WINTER GENERAL MEETINGS:
ESSA holds two General Meeting luncheons during the winter. The February General Meeting was held on Feb. 16th at LaTolteca in Salisbury. Over 35 people attended and were treated to great food and a very informative talk by Jonathon Bartlett from NorthSails.

Where: At the Cambridge Yacht Club.
There will be a buffet style lunch of assorted sandwiches and sides for $15.00 with a cash bar. Remember, all are invited and bring a guest!

FLEET MEETINGS:
Prior to the start of the racing season each fleet (Tangier and Choptank) holds a fleet meeting to discuss items of interest to the fleet and to vote on the rules and schedule for the upcoming season.
