Looks like winter is finally behind us and we can start thinking ahead to splashing the boat and preparing to race!

is some key information to help you plan for the 2022 Sailing Season.

Pat
Seidel has generously offered to be the PRO for our Wednesday Night Races. With
Pat’s broad experience in race management, I’m expecting that our races will be
very well run on the water from a dedicated Committee Boat and onshore with a
Race Committee team at the dock as we cross the finish line at CYC.
We
have sharpened the Course List for 2022 to focus on the “most raced” races and
to react to the repositioning of two marks at the end of last season.
Also, this year the Race Committee can set a course that is not on the
Course List to better fit the conditions at race time
We will start using new software to simplify the reporting of race scores. We will continue to use PHRF ratings. Pat Seidel will take over from George Breig as scorekeeper.
2022
NORSI
The 2022 NORSI will be issued in mid April, well ahead of our first race of Series 1 on May, 11.
Spin
Fleet Racers
Please send a copy of your 2022 PHRF rating certificate to me (rgallagher1.rg@gmail.com) before the first race in Series 1. You will not be scored unless I’ve received your certificate.
2022
Dues
Your 2022 ESSA Membership and Racing dues must be paid to race and be scored. Please pay your dues by the first race on May 11.
