The process is fairly simple. Jim Whited is our regional coordinator and is willing to assist as, and where, needed to make obtaining our certificates quick and easy. Once all the boats have their certificates, they'll be stored in the Regatta Management database. From there, they can be quickly added to their scoring program for us to use on Wednesday night races, as well as for the distance races should they be run using ORR-EZ handicap. Their scoring system is also used nationwide for one design classed, making it appropriate for the Tangier fleet as well. Scoring is done online, and the results are available in just minutes, allowing spirited discussion post-race of the outcome.
