Cost: Dues paying Choptank ESSA members - Free!

All Others - $15 (which includes tax and tip) 

How it Works - ESSA Members will sign in at the gazebo and be given a ticket good for a hamburger and chips and a drink ticket good for a soft drink or water. 

Non-members can purchase a food and drink ticket for $15 at the gazebo..

Tangier Fleet News, October 2, 3 2020

Hi all, 

We will be doing a fun sail on Sunday normal time -  After the fun sail we would like to get an idea of how many are interested in attending the after party for purposes of food purchases.  In addition we would like to determine the start time of the Grey Goose on October 11, 2020 as these races usually are a bit longer depending on the weather.   

The after parties will be held outside to accommodate social distancing and "masks" will be required to ease some members' anxiety.

Kevin and I will be handling all the food to eliminate multiple hands preparing or handling the food and Kevin will be making Brats and there will be sides.  

If anyone wants to bring anything - prepackaged cookies or desserts would be great.  

There will also be a scheduled party at Bob Gordon's house after the Gosling Cup on October 18th.  Again we would like to start a bit earlier so the festivities don't go too late in the day.  

 Happy Sailing and see you all Sunday.

Good Morning Choptank and all ESSA racers!

Wow! the year has certainly sailed by fast. This coming Wednesday is the official ESSA Choptank after race BBQ. The Gazebo will be rocking!

We invite skippers and crew to come and enjoy a burger or hotdog on ESSA. I will personally be treating each of the skippers to a drink of their choice! I do ask that each boat prepare a side dish to bring along. Things like potato salad, pasta salad, macaroni salad, brownies, etc.

I hope to see you there!

Fleet 10 Cruisers send their thanks for a great evening on the Choptank and all that joined them at the Gazebo after the race.

Also Many thanks to the Cambridge Yacht Club for hosting our Sailors Cook-Out.

Fleet 10 is a  cruising club that annually plans one week cruises and shorter cruises on the Chesapeake,  The group has included ports of call as far north as Havre De Grace, as far south as the Potomac, and as extensive as Cape May,  The group has sailed together for over 25 years.  Boats range for 22 feet to 35 feet.
