Three ESSA boats joined forces to make one crew for Branden Spear's Gabrielle this past weekend. With Trevor Carouge's (Epicure) encouragement, "you bought the boat to race, you have to race", the team united foreces. Joined by his regular crew Sarah Freund (CYC Jr. sail instructor) and Lazy Ethel skipper Dotty Holoubek along with her crew, Steve Adams, and Branden, the gang sailed to a third place finish in the Annapolis to Oxford Class B Fleet.
On Sunday, Dotty brought over "the Ethel" along with regular crew, Fred Seifert, to capture 1st place in the non-spin class.
