Bring your Laser, Sunfish, 8-Ball

for an afternoon of sailing, food,

and good company. Anything that

can go over the beach is welcome,

even a Frosty.

Don’t have a small boat, come

anyway; boats will be available.

ESSA will be providing the burgers

and dogs with all the fixings,

cold water, and plates/utensils.

Please feel free to bring a small

salad or fruit dish, dessert,

chips/dip, whatever to share with

everyone and the cold beverages

of your choice.

BYOB - bring your own beverages, blankets, boats, beach chairs, and buddies:)

Reminder:  Sunday, June 26 is Small Boat Day and we are looking forward to an opportunity to get everyone together.  We have the pavilion at Tyaskin Park and will be supplying hamburgers, hotdogs, plates, napkins and utensils, condiments etc.  Please bring dishes to share and BYOB - bring your own beverages, blankets, boats and buddies:)

The updated Cambridge Harbor site plan is the result of the latest round of public comments. CWDI, owner of the Cambridge Harbor site and tasked with its development and management, issued a call for public comment on April 8, 2022.

In all, 561 people logged on to the survey, reviewed the information, illustrations and images provided about the site plan, and answered the survey questions.

Eastern Shore Sailing Association NORSI Amendment #1 Cambridge Fleet 2022 Wednesday Night Notice of Race & Sailing Instructions Fleet Captain: Bob Gallagher, 513-477-2584, text messages encouraged email: rgallagher1.rg@gmail.com The following change should be temporary for the next few weeks. The finish line per paragraph 3.7 will be changed to: 3.7 The Finish Line - The finish line will be between ESSA Mark “Z” (Zulu) and a flag on the Race Committee boat (which will be anchored on the river side of Mark Z ), unless the course is shortened by the Race Committee. A boat will be scored as finished when any part of that boat’s hull crosses the finish line from the course side and continues to stay clear of the finishing marks and other boats.

Choptank Fleet Race Results, Series 1, Race 4, June 8, 2022

 An evening that started with no air blossomed into a great night to sail. 

The spinnaker fleet got off in style and with a good spinnaker run after rounding "A".

A twenty-degree wind shift header during the non-spin starting sequence scrambled the fleet adding multiple minutes to their times. Otherwise, all had a great sail to the finish.
