Choptank fleet Results, Series 3, Race 5, September 6, 2023
Despite the shortened courses for Spin and Non-Spin, the limit for both fleets wee exceeded.
A 90 Minutes was not enough to sail from A-B OR A-C; .91 NM, 1.43 NM, respectfully.
As the racers approached the finish marks, the current took over. The fleet was travelling backwards.
The spinnaker fleet has completed 4 races so their results are official.
The non-spinnaker fleet will not have completed 4 races, so at this time, Series 3 will not be official.
Note: all races will count toward the Overall Award.
