 Good Morning,

We are going to make an important change to the Stedman Smith Cup race on Saturday. 

Currently, there are four boats signed up to race which equates to about 13 lunches at the Tred Avon Yacht Club. Typically we have more boats entering and more like 20-25 people ordering lunch. 

I’ve discussed the situation with the club manager at TAYC and it is not economically viable to open the club and bring in staff to serve only 13 lunches. 

Therefore, the race is being amended as follows:

 

9:00 am Skippers Meeting

10:00 am Race Starts

Marks

Start between G1 - ESSA A 

G23 Port -ESSA C

G19A Starboard 

Round Choptank Light & Leave to Starboard Change Skippers 

G19A Port

G23 Starboard - ESSA C

Finish between G1 - ESSA A

 

No motoring

Record the time of day when you finished.

(e.g., 02:32:14; HH:MM:SS)

Use you GPS clock or an app on your phone that displays time of day down to seconds. 

For Android phone, install "BASIC CLOCK WITH SECONDS" 

For Apple Phone, install "MY DIGITAL CLOCK"

The wind should be good for a fun race.
